Pip's Magical Melting Adventure

In the sparkly land of the North, Pip the Penguin loved his favorite ice cube. It was shiny, cold, and hard as a rock. He carried it everywhere in his tiny flippers.

Page 2
Pip saw his friend Barnaby the Polar Bear sitting by a frozen pond. 'Barnaby!' Pip chirped. 'Why is my ice cube so hard? I wish it could be soft like the ocean waves!'

Page 3
Barnaby smiled through his glasses. 'Ice is just water that has become very, very cold and sleepy,' he explained. 'To change it back, we just need to add some energy!'

Page 4
Pip placed his ice cube on a flat, dark rock. Slowly, the big golden sun began to climb higher in the sky. The sun's rays felt warm and tingly on Pip's feathers.

Page 5
Suddenly, Pip shouted, 'Look! It's sweating!' The ice cube was getting smaller. Tiny drops of clear water were dancing down the sides of the rock. The heat was making the ice molecules move fast!

Page 6
Soon, the ice was gone, leaving only a splash of cool water. 'The sun turned the solid ice into a liquid!' Pip cheered. He realized that with a little warmth, even the coldest things can change.
