Leo's Kind Snack

Watch the story

Page 1
Leo the squirrel lived in a big oak tree in the town park. Every morning, he packed his little yellow backpack with delicious nuts and juicy berries. He loved to find the tastiest treats!

Page 2
Today, Leo was heading to Sunny Meadow, his favorite spot for plump acorns. He scurried down the tree, his tail twitching with excitement. It was going to be a perfect day for foraging!

Page 3
As Leo hopped along the sidewalk, he saw something new. A scruffy dog with floppy ears sat sadly by a lamppost. The dog looked very quiet and very, very hungry.

Page 4
Leo had never seen a dog so close before, especially one all alone. The dog's tummy rumbled loudly. He looked around, hoping for just a little bite to eat.

Page 5
Leo remembered his full backpack. He had so many delicious nuts and berries! He knew he couldn't eat all of them by himself. Sharing felt like the right thing to do.

Page 6
Carefully, Leo crept closer to the sad dog. He pulled out a big, juicy berry and a crunchy nut. He gently pushed them towards the dog with his little paw.

Page 7
The dog's tail gave a tiny wag. He sniffed the food, then gobbled it up quickly. A little bit of happiness shone in his gentle, soulful eyes. He licked his lips gratefully.

Page 8
Leo felt a warm flutter in his heart. Giving food to the hungry dog made him feel even better than finding the acorns himself. He knew he had made a new friend.

Page 9
He understood then that sometimes animals like Sparky don't have homes or food. They need a little help and kindness from people, and even from squirrels like him!

Page 10
And from that day on, Leo always saved a few treats from his backpack for any hungry street animal he saw. He learned that sharing kindness, even a little bit of food, makes the whole world a happier place for everyone.
