The Thirsty Little Cloud

High above the sleepy meadow lived a little cloud named Misty. Misty loved to float lazily, but sometimes she felt a bit tired. She wondered why her cloud friends always drank so much water.

One sunny morning, Misty saw her friend, Sunny the sunflower. Sunny looked bright and tall, always facing the sun. 'Good morning, Sunny!' Misty called down softly.

Sunny waved a big green leaf. 'Good morning, Misty! I just had a big drink of water, and now I feel so strong!' Sunny’s petals sparkled in the morning light.

Misty then spotted Buzzy the bee zipping through the flowers. Buzzy was always zooming here and there, collecting nectar. He looked very busy and energetic.

'Hello, Buzzy! You are so fast today!' Misty said with a gentle sigh. Buzzy buzzed happily, landing on a sweet purple blossom. He seemed full of boundless energy.

'I drank lots of fresh dew this morning, Misty!' Buzzy buzzed. 'It helps me fly far and wide!' He then zipped off to another flower, full of life.

Misty thought about Sunny and Buzzy. They both felt strong and lively after drinking water. Maybe she should try it too. She gathered her wispy edges.

Misty decided to drink up some fresh, clean water from a nearby lake. She absorbed it slowly, feeling herself grow a little heavier and brighter. It felt good!

Soon, Misty felt a wonderful change. Her sleepy eyes were wide awake, and she sparkled! She wasn't tired anymore; instead, she felt ready for anything.

And from that day on, Misty understood why water was so important. She drank lots of water every day, staying bright and strong. She loved helping her friends grow, feeling happy and healthy herself!
