Deep in Whispering Woods, a friendly hedgehog named Pip woke up with a rumble in his tummy. He tied his favorite mustard-yellow scarf neatly around his neck. Today felt like the perfect day for a morning walk.

Pip carried his little woven wicker basket along the winding forest trail. Sunbeams danced through the emerald leaves above him. Suddenly, a sweet, sugary aroma tickled his nose and made his quills tingle with pure joy.

Behind a bend stood the most wonderful apple tree Pip had ever seen. Its branches were heavy with shiny, ruby-red apples. Pip gasped with delight and gathered three big, shiny apples right into his basket.

Pip took a big, crunchy bite from the first red apple. It was crisp, juicy, and wonderfully sweet. He wanted to keep every single apple all for himself so he could feast all week long.

Just then, Bella the bunny hopped into the clearing wearing her teal pinafore apron. Her tummy gave a loud grumble as she stopped near Pip. She looked at the ripe apples with wide, hopeful eyes.

Pip held his basket tight, feeling torn inside. He really loved apples, but he saw that Bella looked very hungry. He took a deep breath, smiled kindly, and rolled a shiny apple toward her paws.

Bella took a bite and did a joyful little hop. Suddenly, Sammy the squirrel leaped down from a high branch, adjusting his blue cap. Sammy rubbed his belly, wishing he could reach an apple too.

Pip looked at his very last apple inside the basket. Giving it away meant his basket would be empty. However, seeing Bella so happy made Pip's heart feel warm, so he gladly passed it to Sammy.

To Pip's surprise, Sammy scampered up the trunk and shaken three fresh branches. Dozens of sweet apples tumbled onto the soft clover. Together, the three happy friends gathered a huge pile of fruit to share.

And so, the three friends sat in the warm sunshine, giggling and munching together until sunset. Pip learned that treats are always sweeter when shared with friends. And from that day on, nobody ever ate alone.
