The Little Seed's Big Journey

Deep in the forest lived Nutty, an excited squirrel. One day, he found a small, brown seed under the soil. 'How does this tiny thing grow?' he wondered. He was impatient to find the answer.

Nutty ran straight to his wisest friend, Wise Owl. Wise Owl looked at Nutty with his big golden eyes. 'Tiny seeds have big secrets,' said Wise Owl. 'Come, let me show you.'

First, the seed needs soil. The soil protects the seed and gives it nutrients. Wise Owl carefully planted the seed in the soft soil. Nutty watched, wagging his tail.

Next, the seed needs water! Raindrops fall onto the soil and wake the seed up. Nutty and Wise Owl used a small leaf to water the seed. This became life-giving water for the seed.

A few days later, a small sprout appeared! 'Look, Wise Owl!' shouted Nutty with joy. 'The seed has woken up!' The sprout began to reach toward the sun. It was a wonderful moment.

The plant needs the sun to grow. Sunlight helps the plant make food. Nutty and Wise Owl moved the sprout to a place where it could see the sun. Now it would grow even more.

The sprout grew a little taller every day. It opened green leaves and its stem grew thicker. Nutty ran over excitedly every morning to check on it. The plant was really growing.

Over time, tiny buds appeared on the plant. Nutty touched the buds. 'What are these, Wise Owl?' he asked. Wise Owl smiled. 'Something very beautiful will happen soon.'

And one morning, the buds opened! Colorful, sweet-smelling flowers appeared. Nutty jumped with joy. 'A flower!' he shouted. The seed's journey was continuing in a wonderful way.

And so, Nutty learned that a seed needs soil, water, sun, and time to grow. Every plant had its own little secret. From that day on, Nutty and Wise Owl greeted every new sprout with great curiosity. They always remembered the beauty of nature.
