On a sunny morning, Can the Squirrel was hopping around the forest with joy. With his blue hat and yellow bag, he looked as energetic as always. However, when he reached his friend Damla the Flower, he noticed that she was drooping and looked very sad.

Can immediately asked his friend what was wrong. Damla the Flower whispered that she felt very tired and weak. Her leaves had dried out and she had lost her bright color. Can felt very sad for his friend and decided to help her.

Running to Wise Owl, Can asked him how he could make his friend feel better. Wise Owl said, 'Water is the source of life, little squirrel. Our bodies need water to function. If we don't drink water, we slow down and get tired, just like a toy with dead batteries.'

Can immediately started running toward the nearest silver stream. He filled his little water bottle with fresh, ice-cold water. As he ran, he realized he was thirsty too and took a sip. As the water went down his throat, it instantly gave him a burst of energy.

Returning quickly to Damla, Can slowly poured the fresh water onto the flower's roots. As Damla drank the water, it was as if magic was happening. Her leaves slowly lifted up and her color turned back to a bright blue. The water had refreshed her from the inside out.

Damla the Flower smiled happily and said, 'Thank you, Can, I feel wonderful now.' Can excitedly began to explain to her that water doesn't just quench our thirst, but also helps our brains think better and our muscles work stronger.

Throughout the day, Can listed one by one why we should drink plenty of water. Drinking water protects us from illnesses, makes our skin glow, and prevents us from getting tired quickly while playing. If we don't drink enough water, we might get headaches and feel very sleepy.

At that moment, other animals in the forest came over to them. The rabbits, birds, and little turtles listened to the importance of water. They all decided to race toward the stream to drink fresh water at once. Drinking water was now the most fun habit for them.

Can and his friends promised each other to drink eight glasses of water every day. As they drank water, their eyes looked brighter and they could run faster. None of them had to get tired in the middle of a game and go home early anymore.

And from that day on, everyone in the forest learned the miracle of water. Can and Damla never forgot to start their day with a fresh glass of water every morning. They lived together in the forest, healthy, happy, and full of energy, in joy forever.
