A story to share together
Pıtır and His Bright Yellow Umbrella
A rainy morning adventure about how sharing and making new friends warms our hearts.

Pıtır was the sweetest hedgehog in the forest. One morning when he woke up, he saw that the sky was covered with gray clouds. He immediately decided to go outside, taking his favorite thing with him: his bright yellow umbrella. Raindrops were tapping pit-a-pat on his umbrella.

Pıtır walked cheerfully over the wet leaves. His yellow umbrella kept him completely dry, and this made him very happy. The forest was filled with the fresh scent of earth from the rain. By the side of the path, Pıtır saw a little bird shivering.

This little bird was Maviş. Her wings were wet, and her feathers were sticking together. Maviş had not been able to find a place to shelter from the rain. When Pıtır saw her, he paused and looked at his yellow umbrella. His umbrella was really just the right size for one person.

At first, Pıtır didn't want to share his umbrella because he was afraid of getting wet. But when he saw how cold Maviş was, his heart softened. He slowly walked over to Maviş. Helping her was beginning to seem much more important than staying dry.

Pıtır spoke in a gentle voice and invited Maviş under his umbrella. Maviş fluttered right over and landed next to Pıtır. Now both of them were under the yellow umbrella. While the rain kept pouring outside, they were safe.

They began to walk in the forest together. Pıtır tried very hard to keep the umbrella balanced. Maviş made the journey fun by singing cheerful songs to Pıtır. Sharing had become much more delightful than walking alone.

As they made their way along the path, they came across a deep puddle. For Pıtır's short legs, this water was much too deep. Maviş quickly thought of a solution. Flapping her wings, she pointed to a shallow path ahead and showed Pıtır a safe route.

A short time later, the sun began to peek through the clouds. The rain stopped, and the forest sparkled brightly. Pıtır slowly closed his yellow umbrella. They didn't need the umbrella anymore, but they had already become wonderful friends.

Maviş thanked Pıtır very much for his help. If Pıtır hadn't shared his umbrella, Maviş could have gotten very sick. As for Pıtır, he learned firsthand that day that happiness grows when you share. Sharing had joined their hearts together.

And after that day, Pıtır and Maviş met on every rainy day and took walks under the yellow umbrella. For Pıtır, rain no longer meant just getting wet; it meant friendship. And so, a tale of lasting friendship in the forest continued forever.
